Is responsible for inspecting the race vehicle to ensure the vehicle falls in line with the recommended safety and competition specifications outlined in the NHRA rulebook. Automotive and mechanical knowledge is required, and a good understanding of racing safety equipment is a plus.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of drag racing safety equipment.
- Automotive knowledge relating to race vehicles
- Able to read and write in English
- Able to work Friday Nights and Weekends, including Holidays during the race season.
- Good people skills, able to work under pressure, be kind to customers in the face of adversity.
- Good attention to detail
- Able to quickly and efficiently inspect race vehicles
- Able to admit when something is outside of your knowledge and ask for help
