EVENT RULES:

1. Payout based on 100 entries
2. All vehicles must pass NHRA/NJ regulations for your ET.NON-electronics. Electronic ignition and single-stage (high side) rev-limiter will be accepted. Non-drive wheel line-locs will be accepted but wiring must be direct and traceable. Electronics expressly forbidden, but not limited to: data recorders, transbrakes, electric/automated shifters other than factory, two-steps, electronic throttle stops, and delay devices. Reverse Trans solenoid may only be operated by a switch affixed to the shifter, such as a back up light switch. (copied from NHRA Div. One rules) DELAY BOXES MAY NOT BE IN THE VEHICLE!!
3. "DEEP" lettering allowed on vehicles for series races only. Must be removed for Sat. night races.
4. Tree will be held for double deep only. Abusers of this will get the tree thrown after 10 seconds. Autostart will be used with extra cycle time (same as Island 2007) for all other pairings. Any unsportsmanlike conduct while staging will be dealt with in the interest of providing a fair race for each pair. Starter's decision is final in all instances.
5. Series decal must be on the car.
6. Double entries permitted: Maximum is 2 entries per driver & 2 entries per car. No car or driver may go down the track more than twice in a round.
7. Buybacks will be run as a separate round. 1st round buybacks only. Buybacks do not earn points. 1st round potential bye will be bogey winner. First best reaction will be potential bye until ladder. No racer will get more than one bye unless all remaining competitors have had one.
8. Cars will be on a ladder at 16 cars (1/8 finals).
