Allamuchy Twp has put a 4 ton weight limit on Cat Swamp Rd and Ridge Rd. As
such, they will hassle anybody with a large truck or truck and trailer that tries to cut
across that way.

Instead, please follow this detour:

From 80 EB or WB exit 19, Make a RIGHT off the ramp. Bear LEFT onto Rt. 667 (Just after the WB
exit ramp). At bottom of hill (less than .2 mile), bear LEFT onto Johnsonburg Rd. Another .2 miles,
make LEFT onto Alphano Rd. Stay on Alphano Rd until the end at Rt. 46 (approx 5-7 miles). Make
a right onto rt 46, go 1 mile, make a right onto Island Rd.
