During the race season, we have Test and Tune sessions weekly on Sundays, as well as some Saturdays. Test and Tune days are made specifically for that; testing and tuning your car all day long. There are no bracket classes, and you can come to the lanes whenever you see fit during our 5 hour run period. The staging lanes are divided into lanes designated for Jr Dragsters, Motorcycles, cars equipped with Street Tires, and cars equipped with Slicks, along with a designated lane for Special Tree's, No Time, and License Passes.
Test and Tune is set up similar to Friday night, except it is not limited to street legal cars. Unmuffled vehicles can run, dragsters, race cars, motorcycles, Jr. dragsters, and of course, street cars may all run as long as they pass our tech inspection. A Test/Tune day is also the day to come if you want to make your license runs for an NHRA competition license.
Sundays are our days for special events. Most events will be run right along side the Test/Tune day, while some events will be held in the morning with test and tune being held from 1-5pm after the event. Few events will take up the whole day. On those days there will be no test and tune, and some are restricted to what type or age of cars can be run (eg, East Cost Rod and Custom Ol' Daze Drags) so please call the track to be sure of what the day's events are.
On a typical Test and Tune day, gates open at 11am and we run from 12-5pm. The cost is $35 to run, $10 for spectators and $7 for kids 10-14. Early and late in the season when the days are shorter, we will open at 10am and run from 11am-4pm. Please refer to the schedule to see what our operating hours are.
Test and Tune will be run on Saturdays and Sundays in March, Sundays April-August, and Saturdays and Sundays from September-November.
